Living in Vernier
A large right-bank municipality, Vernier includes very different areas: Vernier-Village, Châtelaine, Aïre, Le Lignon, Les Avanchets and Cointrin. It is also a major employment hub, home to the ISO headquarters.
Le Lignon, built from 1963 to 1971, is one of the best-known housing estates in Switzerland, while the new L'Étang district brings new-build homes.
