Living in Plainpalais

Between the Rhône and the Arve, Plainpalais is a lively, down-to-earth district with bars, cafés, many theatres and a strong community life. The University (Uni Mail) and the nearby hospital bring in students and professionals.

At its heart, the Plaine de Plainpalais hosts markets, a flea market, circuses and a large skatepark.
