Living in Chêne-Bourg and Thônex
In the east of the canton, Chêne-Bourg and Thônex form, together with Chêne-Bougeries, the Trois-Chêne area. Chêne-Bourg is the canton's smallest municipality by area but very dense; Thônex stretches to the French border at Moillesulaz.
Since Chêne-Bourg station opened in 2019, the area is directly linked to the centre and to Annemasse.
